· For those that have never cruised on a casino offer, a quick explanation as to how it works. To being with, everything casino, whether land or sea is based on your play
· Your play is determined by an equation, which simplified is a combination of time spent playing, the game you play, average bet, and the house edge. From this your Theoretical is figured, and then divided by the number of nights on the ship or spent in a land casino. This will determine your comps
· The perks come from your points, and all casinos keep track of your points when you use your players card in a slot or at the tables.
· The first thing you do when you go to a land casino is go to the players club desk, hand over your license, and they take your “personal” information from that. A cruise line also needs that information to create a booking for you, so we’ll ask for your name, date of birth, address, email, etc…. to forward to them
· To get your comps, it’s our job to verify your play, and since casinos are not allowed to disclose that information, we’ll ask some questions about your casino play, including the last three places you played, the month and year, how many nights, and how many hours you played each night. We also need to know the games you play (slots or tables) and your average bet. From this we can figure your Theoretical and ADT.
· One of the best parts about sailing on a casino comped cruise through an agency like Comp My Cruise, is that you have more control and far greater options. YOU pick the cruise line, the port, the ship, the sail date! We don’t give you a condensed list to pick from. The first time you sail you may choose a cruise up to 7 nights and sail within a year. Once you’ve sailed the first time on a cruise line, you may then book multiple cruises with them and sailing within a 14 month time period.
· We’ll get all of your information to your cruise line of choice, and they will respond with an offer. Once you receive the offer, it needs to be paid in full within a few days, as opposed to paying a deposit, and balance at a later date.
· Depending on your play, you can expect to receive anything from $$ off a cabin, all the way up to a luxury suite. Most of our players are offered at the very least, a comped ocean view cabin for merely the price of tax and port fees. (EVERY person on the ship must pay the government tax and port fees, this is never something that is comped). The tax and port fees are determined by the itinerary. For example, sailing to Mexico and Western Caribbean is hundreds less than an Alaska sailing.
